Pay

Salary Estimate: $87,339.20 - $130,998.40 per year. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired. Factors that may determine your actual salary include specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range.

About the role

The Director ensures high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit, in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 1+ year of manager experience of a large complex unit in a hospital required; 3+ years preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date

About the facility

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds and the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility includes:

  • Emergency Room
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho)
  • The only Burn Center in the state of Idaho
  • The region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children
  • 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offering inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults
