Director Professional Billing Revenue Cycle

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for physician billing and revenue cycle oversight
• Collaborate with third-party billing vendors to optimize performance and revenue capture
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in revenue cycle processes
• Monitor performance using analytics and key performance indicators
• Act as a liaison among various stakeholders to ensure productive communication and service levels
• Govern the implementation and optimization of revenue cycle technologies
• Conduct trend analysis and corrective action planning to enhance financial outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years in healthcare revenue cycle operations or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
• Epic system software experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of physician revenue cycle operations, including claims management and reimbursement methodologies
• Strong understanding of coding principles and payer regulations
