Responsibilities
- Improve and implement Production Control processes and policies for manufacturing work orders
- Ensure disciplined adherence to manufacturing work order management
- Enhance performance metrics related to tactical schedules and work order health
- Resolve tactical issues regarding capacity constraints and material supply
- Identify standard controls to reduce cycle time and improve shared services
- Represent Production Control in the development of system tools
- Manage organization budgets, including forecasting and reconciliation
- Collaborate with Production and Program teams to align on production changes
- Anticipate risks to schedules and personnel, proposing and implementing solutions
- Coach and mentor team members for career growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain management, or related field
- 10+ years of operations, production, or supply chain planning experience
- Deep knowledge of complex manufacturing systems, ideally in aerospace, medical, or military
- Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams
- Experience with ERP, MRP, and MES systems in manufacturing
- Outstanding communication skills focused on teamwork and customer satisfaction
- Strong ability to work effectively with remote teams
- Continuous improvement mindset for ongoing process optimization
