About the role
The Product Management team at Capital One is dedicated to reimagining the status quo and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. The Payments Platform is crucial for powering Capital One’s financial products, aiming to empower customers with real-time intelligent payment experiences.
Responsibilities
- Create a long-term roadmap supporting a broader enterprise vision and industry trends.
- Engage Lines of Business (LOBs) to define, prioritize, and build reusable capabilities to support payment strategies across the company.
- Partner closely with Technology to ensure the platform architecture supports existing and emerging value drivers.
- Collaborate with Programs to create and maintain well-defined and sustainable communication channels with our LOB partners.
- Develop and align on the platform’s data posture.
- Drive tooling to improve reconciliation.
- Enable AI adoption and add value to the Capital One Product Framework.
Requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency in five key areas: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field with 5 years of Product Management experience.
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.

Pay
Salaries for this role vary by location:
- Mclean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Product Management
- New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900 for Director, Product Management
- Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management
