Position Overview

The Director is responsible for developing and refining an integrated growth strategy for high volume issuance solutions for financial card and government ID markets. In this role, the Director will be responsible for developing and leading growth strategies across the business unit's portfolio of offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Ownership: Develop and present business case recommendations for new market opportunities, solution performance and investment requirements to facilitate business planning and decision making.

  • Develop and implement pricing strategy recommendations with a focus on simplification.

  • Aid in strategic partnering activities and negotiations to strengthen our value proposition and market penetration.

  • Communicate as product Subject Matter Expert for marketing materials and sales training material development to ensure accurate messaging around features, benefits, and competitive advantage.

  • Define and document solution requirements, use cases, and interface diagrams for use by engineering/development teams in creating technical requirements and developing new products or enhancements.

  • Perform executive level communication skills required with the ability to be persuasive and articulate necessary responses for all relevant audiences and stakeholders.

  • Analyze market and industry trends, identify and segment key customer groups, track competitive intelligence, and incorporate this insight into solution plans and roadmaps.

  • Develops a deep understanding of issues and trends in banking and government ID programs globally, including potentially disruptive technologies and leads the communication of market intelligence to internal stakeholders.

  • Develops and establishes key partnerships with internal and external customers and establishes credibility as a leader with networks in the industry associations to understand market trends and to anticipate current and future customer needs.

  • Business Performance: Responsible for global revenue and profitability management for products assigned - ensuring revenue and margin targets are met and identifying remediation plans when plan targets are at risk.

  • Develops, owns, and maintains segment roadmaps, which includes product/solution development, market messages, target audiences, other business activities and goals to be achieved.

  • Ensures roadmap alignment with other Entrust marketing initiatives and communication programs.

  • Collaborates with sales to execute the segment roadmap plans to meet Entrust goals.

  • Leadership & People Management: Performs general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, performance reviews, individual development activities, etc.

  • Maintains monitoring team performance against department standards, and ensures that these standards are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Aids in disciplinary decisions and action.

  • Provides necessary work direction and manages projects effectively through planning, organization, and project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or technology.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management and/or development with experience delivering software, hardware and service solutions, preferably in ID and Card Issuance markets.

  • Experience working in Agile-based development environment and creating detailed functional specifications for use by both technical and non-technical readers.

  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA and/or technical degree.

  • Knowledge/experience in financial, banking, payments, or government ID industries.

  • Experience and background in AI and Security Solutions.

  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to stay focused on priorities and thrive in fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to motivate, lead, and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated success in effectively communicating at all levels of an organization.
