Are you looking to join a highly collaborative, fast-paced organization where you can help shape the future of institutional trading and drive transformative business solutions? Fixed Income remains one of the most critical and innovative segments of global financial markets, and our Bond Trading Technology organization is building the next generation of trading capabilities that support multiple desks across the Fixed Income business. We are seeking a Director of Product Management who is energized by the complexities of trading technology, passionate about modern market structure, and motivated by the opportunity to influence a platform used by traders, quants, and strategists across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the end-to-end owner of your delivery teams' culture, strategy, and execution.
  • Partner with technology, trading, and operations leaders to drive strategic decisions, shape the product roadmap, and align resources to the highest-value opportunities.
  • Define and refine quarterly and annual missions, and lead a focused, empowered team to deliver capabilities that modernize how our bond trading desks operate.
  • Enable your delivery teams to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation, and learn quickly from feedback loops — all while maintaining a disciplined approach to quality, stability, and performance.
  • Build an empowered team that leverages proven frameworks and standard processes and strives for delivery excellence and exceptional quality.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with engineering leaders, program/project leads, and delivery team members to build capacity and capability and enable delivery team member learning and development.
  • Identify and convey common interests and priorities across other delivery teams and/or Fixed Income Technology products (including removing barriers and breaking down silos).

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in business/systems analysis, product owner, and/or product management with 4 years experience in a product manager/delivery team leader capacity
  • Excellent communication, organization and planning, and presentation skills
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining large, complex, and dynamic products and solutions
  • Agile, Jira, and Jira Align experience
  • Investment management experience preferred, fixed income trading experience a plus
  • Committed to developing a balance of business domain knowledge and technology skills to fully appreciate the broad needs of our customers and products
  • Take a data-focused approach and regularly seek out the expertise of colleagues to understand customer requirements, propose solutions, and measure results
  • Establish and maintain unquestioning relationships as you work across business, technology, internal, and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes
  • Excel in articulating the key user and customer benefits of bond trading capabilities, functions, and features as they contribute to the success of fixed income businesses
  • Translate strategic objectives into consumable, actionable plans, and prioritize/sequence the work to increase the rate at which value is delivered
  • Derive epics and end-to-end workflows that can be broken down into stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria
  • Track record of building highly engaged, hard-working teams with a strong focus on execution and the ability to identify, communicate, and remove impediments
  • Effective at running fusions for estimating and planning large efforts that articulate the project demands, assumptions, schedule, and risks, and help inform product roadmap and capacity needs
  • Capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues on solutions, best practices, and tools without formal authority, and being a day-to-day mentor/coach for the analyst team members
  • Innovative, intellectually curious, and a team player who can continuously improve our culture, process, and tools, and encourage an agile way of working
