Responsibilities

  • Owes the Product Vision.
  • Defines and evolves the product roadmap across multiple applications, aligning with business goals and market needs.
  • Facilitates strategy conversations and is a caretaker of the business' product roadmap.
  • Harvests and curates both external client inputs and internal stakeholder inputs, and synthesizes those into discrete, prioritized requirement stories.
  • Acts as the voice of the customer, turning various inputs into coherent product requirements and product positioning strategy.
  • Manages the prioritized backlog of requests, ideas, and defects - and conditions each into articulated tickets that are pushed into Engineering and QA.
  • Serves as Product Owner role through agile software development processes. Partners with UX design, development, data operations, architecture, QA, and IT Project Management to execute against organizational priorities.
  • Creates rapid prototype apps with AI to demonstrate front-end design and user workflows.
  • Supports cross-functional operations team readiness (training, certification) as new products and releases are brought to market.
  • Becomes a company expert on external buyers and user personas, including how they buy/use the products, buying criteria and market forces.

Qualifications

  • Must have 10+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years of progressive experience as a product manager.
  • Must have a strong technical background – Python, React, Github, and agentic frameworks preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS, AI / Machine Learning, information governance, or electronic discovery (eDiscovery) spaces.
  • Experience with an agile software development environment in a Product Owner role with working knowledge of agile processes (preferably experience with the Scrum framework).
  • Must be able to prove depth of knowledge in software development lifecycle.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effectiveness at writing business requirements.
  • Preference working in global operations and selling organizations.
