We're looking for a seasoned healthcare product leader to identify the biggest opportunities in that market and spearhead our next wave of growth. Operating in a general manager-like capacity for this new business, this role’s success will be measured by financial targets, not just delivering on the roadmap. This is a high-visibility role: you'll shape strategy alongside the CPTO and CEO. Payer data experience is a must, and expertise supporting quality programs such as HEDIS and Stars is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for 1up's innovation products, reporting to the Chief Product & Technology OfficerOwn business outcomes and financial success for innovation products, including revenue, profitability, adoption, and retention targetsIdentify and validate new payer analytics opportunities through customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysisTranslate payer business problems (quality, risk adjustment, utilization, cost of care, member engagement, network management, VBC arrangements) into differentiated product capabilitiesLead concept development, prototyping, and pilot programs with design partners and early customersDefine success metrics and business cases for new initiatives, and make clear build/partner/kill recommendationsPartner with Engineering and Data teams on analytics architecture, data models, and feasibility of emerging approaches, including AI/MLLead commercial enablement for innovation products, equipping Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing with positioning, pricing, packaging, sales tools, and trainingEvangelize 1up's new products externally as the product's public face, presenting at industry conferences, webinars, and customer events, and serving as a subject-matter expert with customers, partners, and analystsTrack regulatory and market shifts, e.g., value-based care, Stars/HEDIS, and turn them into product opportunities Relevant Experience 8+ years in product management, with 3+ years leading products in payer analytics or health plan dataDeep familiarity with payer data (claims, clinical, eligibility, pharmacy) and use cases such as HEDIS/Stars, risk adjustment, and population healthTrack record of taking new products from concept to market adoptionDemonstrated ownership of commercial results (revenue, P&L, or business-line targets) for a product or portfolioWorking knowledge of healthcare data standards and interoperability (FHIR, HL7, X12) and related CMS regulationsComfortable with analytics tooling and data concepts; able to engage credibly with data scientists and engineersExperience selling to or working inside health plans; an established payer network is a plusStrong executive communication and customer-facing presence; a confident public speaker comfortable presenting at industry events Don't meet every requirement?
