For our client, a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space, we are seeking a Director of Process & Analytical Development to advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. This role partners with sales leadership, HR centers of excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders to align talent priorities with commercial execution, influencing culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing ADPD organization, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration
  • Define and execute the strategic direction of the ADPD organization through planning and resource allocation
  • Establish infrastructure and talent to support future manufacturing operations and business growth
  • Serve as a key contributor to the Sales & Operations Planning process, aligning development capabilities with customer demand
  • Provide oversight for development and manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met
  • Drive Lean maturity and a culture of Operational Excellence to enhance sustainable performance
  • Lead strategic initiatives to advance the ADPD organization's efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field required; PhD preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, or related life sciences environments
  • Deep understanding of small molecule and bioconjugate technologies
  • Extensive leadership experience in Process Development, Analytical Development, Technical Operations, or related GMP-regulated organizations
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, cGMP requirements, and technology transfer

Pay

$196,700 – $232,650 annually

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
