About the role
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing data using Teradata SQL*Loader and other tools to load data into the database.Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts for loading data into Teradata databases.
- Analyze data quality issues and implement solutions to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform regular performance tuning on SQL*Loader jobs to optimize data loading processes.
- Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of existing data loading processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in data loading and management using Teradata SQL*Loader and similar tools.
- Strong understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data quality and validation tools.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
- Experience with data migration projects.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Teradata SQL*Loader.
