About the Role
Manage and accurately report the production status and costs associated with multi-site manufacturing projects from initiation to completion. Deliver results through effective project management and administration of the company’s manufacturing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire project life cycle, from sales quotation development and proposal through production and the post-completion warranty period, including joint project P&L responsibility with the sales department.
- Implement and maintain reports necessary to manage the entire project life cycle.
- Develop and recommend plans for implementation and administration of multi-site projects.
- Serve as the customer’s advocate on the project, coordinating customer communication and requested project change orders.
- Ensure customer expectations are met and the company meets delivery expectations by anticipating issues and implementing corrective action plans.
- Correct shortfalls in all project goals, including delivery, P&L, quality, and engineering issues.
- Review new sales contracts to ensure the anticipated Bill of Material (BOM) cost and structure align with manufacturing requirements for each facility and outside vendors.
- Coordinate project management efforts among project managers at various manufacturing facilities involved in the project.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication among engineering, manufacturing, and outside vendors.
- Ensure all parties understand the project’s technical requirements and completion deadlines.
- Conduct post-project reviews to assess success or failure, evaluate financial, quality, and production processes, and recommend improvements.
- Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.

- Knowledge of quality systems and their implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to organize and direct projects to completion while balancing customer needs and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university).
- Four to ten years of related experience.
- Previous experience in data mining within an ERP environment.
- Quotations experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Prior manufacturing, production control, project management, and/or sales experience.
- Knowledge of company-manufactured product lines.
- Oil field industry experience preferred.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
- Proven ERP skills; experience with JD Edwards or Oracle preferred.
- Project Management certification preferred.
