About the Role

Manage and accurately report the production status and costs for multi-site manufacturing projects from initiation to completion. Deliver results through effective project management, administration, and implementation of the company’s manufacturing efforts. Oversee the entire project life cycle, including sales quotation development, production, and post-completion warranty, with joint P&L responsibility alongside the sales department.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain reports to manage the entire project life cycle.
  • Develop and recommend plans for multi-site project implementation and administration.
  • Serve as the customer’s advocate, coordinating communication and change orders while ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Ensure the company meets customer delivery expectations by anticipating issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Address shortfalls in project goals, including delivery, P&L, quality, and engineering issues.
  • Review new sales contracts to align anticipated BOM costs with manufacturing requirements across all facilities and vendors.
  • Coordinate project management efforts among project managers at various manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication among engineering, manufacturing, and outside vendors.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to assess success/failure, evaluate financial and production processes, and recommend improvements.
  • Perform work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Build relationships with customers and coworkers while providing leadership and mentoring to reporting teams.
  • Innovate and streamline processes to improve quotation efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university) with 4–10 years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in data mining within an ERP environment.
  • Quotations experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Prior manufacturing, production control, project management, and/or sales experience.
  • Knowledge of company-manufactured product lines.
  • Oil field industry experience preferred.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
  • Proven ERP skills, with preference for JD Edwards or Oracle.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships, direct resources, and mentor teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize projects to completion.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and their implementation.

Certificates & Licenses

Project Management certificate preferred.

Working Conditions

Standard office criteria.
