About the Role
We are seeking a future team member for the role of Director, POM Product Management to join our Global Fund Administration Product team. This role is located in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary advocate for client needs and incorporate stakeholder feedback and testing
- Define and communicate product vision aligned with business goals
- Create and maintain a prioritized list of user stories and requirements
- Lead sprint planning and backlog refinement
- Provide timely feedback and clarification during development cycles
- Accept or reject completed work based on predefined criteria
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and other product owners, communicating progress, risks and outcomes
- Make implementation trade-off decisions to deliver products with minimal defects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 12+ years in product management or related roles, with at least 10 years in leadership positions. Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred.

Pay
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $281,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
Schedule
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
