Responsibilities
- Manage all issues relating to the maintenance, management and sustainability of facilities, infrastructure and plant resources for assigned Kettering Health location.
- Manage all aspects of facilities maintenance as well as relationships with outsourced contractors to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Serve as primary decision maker in prioritizing jobs and allocating staffing and resources to support total facility management.
- Report to the campus COO.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Construction Management, Engineering or a closely related field, or a nationally accredited apprenticeship program completion.
- Master's Degree preferred
- CHFM preferred
Minimum Work Experience
- Minimum 7 years in Facilities management with experience in budget oversight, contracted services oversight, personnel management and long-term planning.
Required Licenses
- [Ohio, United States] Other
Required Skills
- ASHE (American Society for Healthcare Engineering) member
- ICS (Incident Command System) 100, 200, 700 course completions within the first year.
- Leadership/management skills
- Knowledge of State and local fire codes
- Comprehensive knowledge of Life Safety Code and application to HFAP Chapters 11 & 13 standards
- Ability to read blueprints and specs for construction projects
- Ability to work with web-based software
- Able to manage multiple projects and teams at one time
