About the role

We're looking for a Director, Performance Marketing to own and scale RingCentral's full-funnel paid performance engine. This is a senior leadership role for a practitioner-leader with deep domain expertise across Paid Search (SEM), Paid Media (Paid Social, Programmatic, Display, CTV/OLV), and Affiliate Marketing. You will lead an in-house team of performance marketers and manage two agency partners, driving measurable top-of-funnel and mid-funnel pipeline impact at scale. You'll work cross-functionally with Analytics, Marketing Ops, Web Experimentation, and Integrated Marketing—bringing a sharp commercial mindset, a test-and-learn discipline, and a track record of delivering in B2B SaaS.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-channel performance marketing strategy across SEM, Paid Social, Programmatic, Display, CTV/OLV, and Affiliate—aligned to pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Lead and develop an in-house performance marketing team and manage two agency partners, holding all parties accountable to execution quality, pacing, and results.
  • Manage eight-figure annual media budgets across channels with rigorous spend efficiency, continuous optimization, and clear ROI accountability.
  • Build and own a full-funnel measurement ecosystem—from impression to MQL to pipeline—partnering with Analytics and Marketing Ops on attribution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Drive a structured test-and-learn agenda across creative, targeting, keyword strategy, bidding, and landing pages; deliver insights that sharpen future investment decisions.
  • Champion AI tools and automation to improve workflow efficiency, audience targeting, bidding intelligence, and performance forecasting across all channels.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of performance marketing experience with hands-on expertise across SEM, paid social/programmatic, and affiliate channels—B2B SaaS experience is required.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving pipeline and revenue impact through multi-channel paid programs at scale, with full-funnel KPI ownership (MQL, Pipeline, Bookings, ROAS).
  • 8+ years managing in-house teams and external agency relationships with a track record of building high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Experience owning and managing eight-figure annual media budgets with data-driven channel allocation and spend efficiency.
  • Strong platform fluency across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, programmatic DSPs, and affiliate tracking tools and vendors.
  • Proficiency with reporting and attribution platforms (Tableau, SFDC, GA4).
  • Clear, confident communicator—able to translate performance data into business-level narratives for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CTV/OLV measurement, programmatic DSPs, and advanced audience segmentation strategies.
  • Working knowledge of affiliate program compliance—fraud prevention, brand safety, attribution windows, and partner governance.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools to improve daily marketing workflows, campaign optimization, or performance forecasting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or equivalent work experience.

Pay

If you are hired in California the compensation range for this position is between $190,100.00 and $231,800.00 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
