About the role
The Director, People Strategy & Transformation plays a key role in shaping and executing the organization's people strategy, partnering closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to advance organizational goals and strengthen workforce capability.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership & People Strategy
- Partner directly with the Chief People Officer to develop, refine, and operationalize enterprise people and talent strategies.
- Lead strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives that advance organizational goals and strengthen workforce capability.
- HR Operating Model & Organizational Effectiveness
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the HR organizational structure, roles, and service delivery model.
- Develop recommendations to optimize team structure, responsibilities, and operating processes, particularly in support of HR technology transformation.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and enhance the strategic impact of the HR function.
- Partner with HR leaders to establish clear roles, governance, and accountability frameworks.
- HR Technology & Transformation Leadership
- Serve as the HR process lead for HRIS implementation and optimization initiatives.
- Partner with HR, GDC, and business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and future-state requirements.
- Assess organizational impacts, change readiness, and adoption risks associated with technology transformation efforts.
- Lead HR process redesign to improve efficiency, scalability, data quality, and employee experience.
- Ensure successful implementation and sustainable adoption of new HR technologies and workflows.
- AI Enablement & Process Innovation
- Coordinate with HR teams and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for embedding AI into people processes and workflows.
- Drive the responsible adoption of AI-enabled solutions to improve productivity, decision-making, employee experience, and operational effectiveness.
- Establish frameworks, best practices, and governance considerations for AI integration across HR functions.
- Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to modernize talent and HR operations.
- Change Management & Stakeholder Leadership
- Partner with Transformation team to drive change management efforts associated with talent initiatives, operating model changes, and technology implementations.
- Build alignment and engagement among leaders and stakeholders during periods of change.
- Ensure effective communication, training, and adoption strategies for key people initiatives.
- Influence senior leaders to drive accountability and sustainable outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR, organizational effectiveness, talent management, or people strategy experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise talent programs, organizational change initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
- Experience designing and executing succession planning, talent review, and performance management processes.
- Experience supporting HR technology implementations and process transformation efforts.
- Strong strategic thinking, project leadership, and executive communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex organizational environments.
Preferred
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar professional certification.
- Experience leading HR operating model redesign or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI applications within Human Resources and talent management.
- Experience in high-growth, transformation-focused, or multi-location organizations.
