Director, Patient Financial Services
Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga, and Elmore counties.
About the role
The Director, Patient Financial Services is responsible for the overall direction of the physician billing and central billing departments. This individual will develop and implement processes and controls to ensure accurate and maximized revenue capture. The Director will oversee central billing and physician billing offices, identifying ways to prevent revenue leakage or loss, reduce operational costs, and improve margins. Additionally, the role contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal-setting for the department in collaboration with senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred
- At least 10 years of hospital and physician patient financial services experience
- Minimum 10 years of management experience
