Director, Outpatient Psychiatry

Job Duties

• Oversee the psychiatric team of providers in both Luzerne and Lackawanna/Wyoming Counties.
• Develop models of care and methods to maintain service excellence in the region.
• Provide strategic direction, ensure adherence to medical standards, and collaborate with executive leadership to guide clinical policy, performance improvement, and patient-centered initiatives.
• Lead and evaluate all institute physicians in clinical and assigned administrative duties.
• Direct and oversee the clinical, operational, and financial management of the department.
• May oversee one or more residency or fellowship programs.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
