Director, Outbound Transportation

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute transportation strategies that enhance customer experience, cost, and capacity
• Lead carrier diversification and network optimization initiatives for seamless operations
• Create scalable transportation solutions for expanding channels and global growth
• Align transportation performance with customer care and store operations expectations
• Establish resilient plans to safeguard customer commitments during disruptions
• Monitor market trends and transportation capabilities for strategic planning
• Drive cost optimization while maintaining high customer service standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment
• 5+ years leading transportation teams and managing transportation service providers
• Deep expertise in parcel transportation and carrier management
• Proven experience developing effective transportation strategies
• Strong understanding of transportation economics and market dynamics
• Experience leveraging analytics and technology for data-driven decision-making

Pay

$125,000 – $150,000 annually
