About the role

Peloton is seeking a proactive and collaborative Director of Operations Program Management (OPM) to guide the execution of strategic operations programs. This role is essential for enabling operational efficiency, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic operations programs that align with Peloton’s long-term vision
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the OPM team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning
  • Partner with senior leadership to define program priorities, goals, and success metrics
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of multiple operations programs, ensuring they support strategic objectives
  • Create comprehensive program plans, including timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Maintain detailed plans for parts, focusing on accurate forecasting and logistics
  • Facilitate transparent communication across teams to support collective program success
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and improve program effectiveness
  • Conduct regular reviews and share insights with leadership regarding risks and opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and operational flow
  • Manage program budgets to ensure thoughtful and effective use of resources
  • Coordinate the allocation of personnel, balancing team workload and well-being
  • Mentor and grow a diverse team of program managers, providing clear pathways for professional development
  • Guide the sustaining process as part of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to ensure long-term product health
  • Collaborate with development teams to incorporate user feedback into product enhancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 10+ years experience in operations management, with a 5+ years history of leading teams and people
  • Experience managing complex, large-scale programs within manufacturing or supply chain environments
  • A deep understanding of project management methodologies and collaborative tools
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to build trust across departments
  • Strategic thinking skills and the ability to deliver results in an evolving environment
  • Proficiency in program management software and data-informed problem-solving
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A commitment to building and maintaining inclusive, professional relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern project management platforms

Pay

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is typically full-time. Some travel may be required to ensure global alignment and partnership.
