About the role

The Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center, located on our medical center campus, provides advanced cardiovascular care, bringing together expert providers, innovative treatments and compassionate support for patients across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Works with site medical expense team to provide direction for actions to control targeted costs for inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Conducts regular agenda driven meetings with staff to address issues, concerns, and to communicate mission of organization.
  • Directs, organizes and plans the operation of assigned clinics.
  • Strategizes with the senior staff regarding program expansion, business development and new care models.
  • Focuses on quality improvement, utilization and reducing medical costs while incorporating the skills of provider partners whenever possible.
  • Provides leadership to staff, giving direction and guidance to managers and staff as appropriate.
  • Plans, budgets, organizes and manages the department to accomplish operational and strategic objectives.
  • Analyzes and interprets complex data sets and reports, i.e., variance analysis, financial/quality, population specific reports.

Requirements

  • Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
  • Master's Degree in business administration, management, health care management, or related field.
  • Seven years' technical experience.
  • Three years' multi-clinic management experience.

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $126,080 to $189,121. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
