Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management of inert and energetic operations for the Camden, Arkansas site.
- Provide leadership to a diverse team and mentor the team in achieving operational excellence.
- Develop operations leaders and operators by ensuring we have leaders and operators that are ready for the next level through deliberate training and succession planning.
- Lead site visit interactions with external customers and government officials.
- Ensure compliance to both safety and QA regulatory offices.
- Ensure that both commercial and government QA certifications are maintained through site compliance.
- Lead all site activities to ensure products are produced to schedule and budget.
- Interface with Program Managers to ensure alignment of resources and capabilities to meet business demands.
- Lead site activities that ensure standard business practices are in place and practiced across all of Operations.
- Work with Human Resources to improve employee experience within the Operations Division, resulting in attrition reduction and talent attraction.
- Able to obtain US Secret Security Clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related operations experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related operations experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related operatons experience.
- 8+ years experience leading manufacturing/production operations within the aerospace and defense industry.
- 5+ years experience managing a DOD compliant Earned Value Management budget system.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience leading production operations in a DOD energetic facility.
- Experience using LEAN principles leading production operations.
- Thorough understanding and demonstrated use of ERP systems.
