About the role
The Director, Ops AI Strategic Execution & Portfolio Lead plays a pivotal role in scaling Artificial Intelligence as a core capability across Operations and the broader firm. Reporting to the Managing Director of Ops AI, you will lead a portfolio of high-impact initiatives, translating AI strategy into execution and delivering measurable gains in scale, efficiency, risk management, and client experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of the Ops AI portfolio, from prioritization through delivery and enterprise scaling, ensuring AI initiatives translate into measurable business value and sustained impact.
- Partner closely with Operations, Enterprise AI, Data, Technology, and cross-functional leaders, driving disciplined execution, establishing governance and execution frameworks, and embedding value measurement practices that move solutions from pilot to production.
- Align senior stakeholders, navigate complex tradeoffs, and build high-performing teams to deliver integrated, AI-enabled outcomes that advance an AI-driven operating model and long-term competitive advantage.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading large scale transformation portfolios, ideally financial services or consulting
- 1+ years of experience driving AI transformation initiatives in large, complex organizations
- Proven track record delivering measurable business outcomes, at scale, through complex, cross-enterprise initiatives
- Strong portfolio management capabilities, including prioritization, sequencing, and value tracking
- Demonstrated ability to quickly mobilize teams with a bias for action in fast-paced environments
- Strong leadership, partnership, and influencing skills in a highly matrixed environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize complex topics for multi-level audiences, from senior executives to daily users
- Demonstrated team leadership capabilities, effectively organizing highly performing, multi-discipline teams to meet changing business challenges
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with AI technologies and methodologies
- Understanding of financial services operations and regulatory requirements
- Experience with data analytics and machine learning
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management
