Director, Strategy & Operations, AI
Responsibilities
Lead AI Transformation & Organizational Intelligence
- Serve as Maven's "context engineer" — build and maintain the internal knowledge management infrastructure that makes AI agents effective: documentation, decision logs, and the organizational context that allows AI to be genuinely useful rather than generic
- Spearhead how Maven uses AI across every team — not by mandate, but by making the AI-native path the path of least resistance
- Work with Product and Engineering leadership to design systems and workflows that make Maven's data continuously legible, actionable, and connected to real-time decision-making across the company
- Identify the highest-leverage opportunities for AI to improve speed, quality, and efficiency — across clinical operations, sales, product, and member experience — and work with functional leads to implement and scale them
- Help Maven's leadership team think rigorously about culture and organizational design in the age of AI: where coordination layers can be replaced by intelligence, and what the right structure looks like as a result
Help Shape Company Priorities
Partner with executives to define and drive Maven's most important strategic initiatives
- Translate company goals into clear cross-functional plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes

- Support leadership decision-making with clear analysis, strong judgment, and crisp recommendations
Drive Cross-Functional Execution
Lead high-priority initiatives that span multiple teams and require strong coordination
- Clarify ownership, remove bottlenecks, and keep momentum high across functions
- Build operating rhythms, reviews, and forums that help teams stay aligned and move quickly
- Ensure the right information reaches the right leaders at the right time
Build for Scale
Partner with Finance and leaders across the company on annual planning, resource allocation, and organizational design
- Continuously improve how Maven operates as we grow
