Director Oncology

About the Role

The Director Oncology will drive operational excellence for Memorial’s oncology service line, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered oncology care through program development under the direction of the CEO and the Regional Director of Oncology. The Director will serve as a Savannah regional leader for executing mid- and long-range strategic initiatives to optimize operational performance while managing short-range planning and execution related to disease site performance, marketing, and compliance.

The Director will assist with the development of strategic imperatives, execute coordination of operational initiatives and tactical plans, and track performance against key performance indicators (metrics). The role ensures operational support to departments involved in strategic implementation of Oncology programs and mentors colleagues to ensure optimum team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• 5+ years healthcare operations management experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity
• Clinical or business certification or degree preferred
