About the role

The Director, OFCI Equipment Procurement Engineering is responsible for overseeing the procurement and engineering of equipment for data center projects. This includes managing suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement and engineering of equipment for data center projects
• Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment
• Ensure all equipment meets regulatory standards and industry best practices
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and facility managers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team on equipment specifications and requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data center equipment procurement and engineering
• Experience working with data center equipment manufacturers and suppliers
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and equipment standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful equipment procurement and engineering projects
• Experience with data center equipment such as servers, storage systems, and networking equipment
• Knowledge of data center design and construction processes
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
