Director of Treasury, VP

Essential Functions

• Work closely with the Treasurer to oversee treasury functions with the goal of managing the firm’s liquidity and mitigating risk to the Bank
• Conduct ALM forecasting with the support of treasury analysts and ensure results are accurate and reliable
• Produce strategy recommendations based on modeling results and economic outlook. Present the results to senior management
• Continuously perform assessments on, and seek ways to improve, existing processes as well as treasury related products, services, technologies, and systems
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with investment and wholesale funding brokers. Execute approved strategies with well-documented support
• Assist in the Bank’s strategic planning by identifying recommendations and action plans to enhance balance sheet strategy and profitability
• Contribute to the Bank’s budgeting and capital stress testing processes through balance sheet and net interest income forecasting
• Oversee derivative and hedging activities
• Ensure all treasury related policies and procedures are reviewed and maintained. This includes policies relating to cash position, treasury operations, derivative activity, liquidity, ALCO, and cashflow management reporting
• Remain current on all treasury management and banking related regulations and laws to ensure the Bank’s documents, processes, and procedures are compliant

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years in financial services or banking with proven experience leading a team of financial professionals
• ALM modeling experience is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of treasury management concepts in the banking industry
• Strong analytical, research, planning, and organizing skills
• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional designations (i.e., Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)) preferred
• High-level of proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and other modeling tools) required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Critical attention to detail

Pay

The annual salary range for the Director of Treasury is $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
