Director of Treasury Operations

About the role

The Director of Treasury Operations oversees the institution’s treasury and investment functions, including monitoring and forecasting cash needs, administering online banking activities, processing wire transfers, managing fraud prevention tools, and reconciling daily banking activity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records related to charitable trusts and gift annuities
• Prepare annual investment summaries
• Allocate investment activity in accordance with FAS 124
• Review and reconcile charitable gifts
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Support the annual financial statement audit
• Prepare IRS Forms 990 and 990 T
• Compile financial data for surveys such as IPEDS, Middle States, and U.S. News
• Assist with budget variance analysis
• Manage the configuration of the College’s Jenzabar administrative software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance
• At least five years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written communication skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality
• Patience, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work effectively in a traditional office environment and collaborate across campus
• Demonstrated understanding and commitment to Grove City College’s mission and vision
