Director of Therapy OTR
About the role
The Director of Therapy (DOT) plays a key role in overseeing rehabilitation services (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology) at Grey Stone Health & Rehab. This position requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, leadership in staff development, and ensuring efficient and effective therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead rehabilitation services including PT, OT, and SLP.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide leadership in staff development and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Manage daily operations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage with residents and families to build meaningful relationships.
- Resolve conflicts and mediate between team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Indiana.
- Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Previous management experience preferred.
