About the role
As the Director of Tax at Crumbl, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. You will also manage the tax department, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities
- Oversee all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Manage the tax department, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.
- Prepare and present tax-related reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in tax management or accounting.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
