Director of Sustainment
Role Overview
The Director of Sustainment leads sustainment operations supporting deployed radar, RF, and mission systems. Responsibilities include owning depot repair, refurbishment, RMAs, spares, and lifecycle support execution, driving coordination across various departments, and developing spares, obsolescence, and lifecycle support strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead depot and repair operations.
- Own repair throughput, turnaround time, and fleet readiness metrics.
- Drive field-failure investigations and corrective action coordination.
- Develop spares, obsolescence, and lifecycle support strategies.
- Stand up sustainment SOPs, workflows, and reporting infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years in sustainment, depot operations, repair operations, or lifecycle support.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Experience supporting complex aerospace, defense, RF, or electronics hardware.
- Strong operational leadership capability in high-tempo environments.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience supporting deployed defense systems.
- Familiarity with FRACAS, serialized tracking, and depot repair workflows.
- Experience scaling sustainment organizations.
