For our client, we are seeking a Director of Sustainability to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape and drive the company’s sustainability strategy across product development, supply chain operations, and broader business practices. The Director will partner with senior leaders to set priorities, guide investment decisions, and build the operating model needed to embed sustainability into day-to-day execution. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who can translate complex environmental topics into clear actions and measurable outcomes. Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $226,100 – $266,000 annually Responsibilities Define the company’s sustainability principles and multi-year roadmap Establish prioritization criteria for sustainability initiatives Recommend strategic investments in sustainability to senior leadership Track regulatory changes and industry best practices Build an operating model to integrate sustainability into product design and development Develop a baseline for the company’s environmental impact, including emissions Manage supplier sustainability programs and assessments Qualifications 10+ years of experience in sustainability or related fields Significant experience in hardware, consumer electronics, or wearables Track record of defining and executing enterprise sustainability strategies Expertise in product lifecycle impact and supply chain operations Familiarity with sustainability regulations and frameworks Strong executive communication skills with the ability to clarify complex topics Experience leading teams and building capabilities Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance, along with mental health resources Employee product benefit and discounts for friends and family 20 days of paid time off, plus 13 paid holidays and 8 wellness days Paid sick leave and parental leave Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
