About the role
We are hiring a strategic leader to serve as the Director of Supported Employment & Community Services for Council Bluffs, IA. This role reports to the State Director and provides leadership and oversight for the organization's Traditional Supported Employment and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) programs. The Director supports youth and adults with significant disabilities in achieving competitive integrated employment through high-quality, person-centered services, ensuring program excellence, regulatory compliance, strong community partnerships, and positive employment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Supported Employment and Pre-ETS programs.
- Supervise, coach, and develop employment services staff.
- Ensure compliance with program standards, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Build partnerships with employers, schools, Vocational Rehabilitation, and community agencies.
- Monitor program performance, budgets, and outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Support strategic planning and program growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation, Business, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Sales/marketing or community outreach experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Pay
Starting salary: $55,000
