Job Description

We’re hiring: Director of Student Care & Registrar BIU University | Grupo Planeta

We are looking for a strategic and experienced leader to oversee student services and academic records operations, ensuring student success, compliance, and operational excellence across the institution.

• Lead registrar operations: academic records, transcripts, enrollment certifications, and graduation processes
• Ensure compliance with FERPA, accreditation standards, and Florida regulations (CIE)
• Oversee registration, grading, course scheduling, and student records integrity
• Drive student care initiatives focused on retention, onboarding, and engagement
• Manage student complaints, appeals, and support processes with fairness and consistency
• Cook up with academic and administrative teams to improve the student experience
• Support audits, accreditation reviews, and institutional reporting
• Lead and develop Student Services and Registrar teams

Requirements

• Master’s degree
• +5 years in higher education (Registrar, Student Services, or Academic Administration)
• Strong knowledge of compliance, academic records, and student lifecycle
• Proven leadership and organizational skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
