Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or school administration (preferred)

Experience

• Three years of counseling/administrative school experience (preferred)
• Experience working with adolescents and/or families, particularly in traditionally underserved schools and communities (preferred)
• Possess valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or equivalent (strongly preferred)
• Possess valid Illinois Type 73, Type 75, or equivalent (strongly preferred)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Ability to operate standard business office equipment
• Ability to stand, bend, reach high and low, stoop, and walk around the classroom 60% of the day
• Ability to lift and/or push and pull 15 to 20 lbs. for short periods of time
• Walk up and down stairs several times a day
• Majority of work is performed in a general school environment
• Availability for extended hours plus non-traditional hours required to perform job duties
• Participation and attendance at organization-sponsored events and meetings
