Director of Strategy, Utilities

Responsibilities

• Serve as the resident expert in utilities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies and translate them into strategic initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive market analyses to assess customer needs, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
• Translate market insights into actionable strategies to penetrate new markets, expand product offerings, and drive revenue growth.
• Partner closely with Product Management to shape roadmap priorities based on market needs and competitive differentiation.
• Champion innovation within the utilities ERP portfolio, identifying opportunities for digital transformation, automation, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud modernization.
• Establish yourself as a thought leader in the utilities software space through participation in industry conferences, speaking engagements, and publication of white papers or articles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Computer Information Systems, or similar.
• Minimum of seven years of experience required.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-30%.
• Professional certifications in applicable areas of expertise a plus.
