About the Role

This position will support and develop strategic initiatives, facilitate planning sessions, and drive change activities required to achieve business opportunities, growth, and financial profitability. The role requires a high degree of independence, initiative, judgment, and follow-through on a wide range of sensitive and complex issues and reports directly to the SVP. It offers invaluable exposure to the strategic vision and breadth of work of senior leadership.

Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking skills, exceptional attention to detail, a proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, and a willingness to tackle difficult projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Support and promote the achievement of the strategic plan of ECS, including:
- Serving as Market Sector Leader for stadiums, arenas, convention centers, airports, and other strategic national and regional clients
- Providing strategic support to the development, growth, and national expansion of services by assisting the Corporate Director of National Accounts
- Supporting the refinement and shift of the company’s safety culture in collaboration with the Corporate Director of Safety
- Leading strategic support for the national expansion and growth of Regional Environmental and Facilities Service lines
- Assisting the ECS Risk Management Committee by collaborating with the Corporate Director of Risk Management and Task Force Group Chairs
- Supporting the ECS Recruiting team in sourcing and recruiting strategic-level candidates for national expansion
Champion the development and research of company strengths, identify potential new markets and business opportunities, increase market share, and secure a competitive industry position
Directly lead key strategic workstreams to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of organization-wide processes and systems
Contribute to analyzing, planning, researching, and developing the organization’s objectives and strategic initiatives
Develop relationships with strategic clients and liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs, and create synergy
Establish, maintain, and expand productive relationships with key personnel of strategically important and typically large customers
Support workstreams related to strategy development, growth planning, and annual planning processes
Manage major organizational initiatives, which may include leading cross-functional teams, designing and implementing new processes or systems, or driving organizational change
Manage and/or support projects to enhance strategic and administrative support for the CEO, COO, and senior leadership
Lead and support additional future strategic initiatives as determined by the Subsidiary Executive Team, Corporate Development, COO, or CEO

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Master’s or MBA preferred
8+ years of experience driving strategic initiatives across organizations
