Director of Strategic Accounts & Partnerships
Position Overview
Peak Beverage is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts & Partnerships to oversee the most valuable client, venue, planner, and corporate relationships. This role serves as the steward of Peak's key accounts, ensuring clients receive exceptional ongoing support, contracts are renewed, revenue opportunities are maximized, and strategic partnerships continue to grow year over year.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage Peak Beverage's portfolio of strategic accounts and venue partnerships.
Develop annual account plans for top revenue-producing clients and venues.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with key accounts.
Maintain executive-level relationships with venue operators, corporate clients, planners, and partners.
Ensure all contractual commitments and service expectations are met.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts.
Partner with Business Development and Market Sales teams to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Drive growth through expanded beverage programs, concessions, sponsorships, activations, and new service offerings.
Create retention and expansion strategies for top accounts.
Maintain ownership of contract renewal timelines and processes.
Proactively engage clients prior to renewal periods.
Monitor account health and client satisfaction metrics.
Reduce account churn through proactive communication and relationship management.
Build long-term partnership strategies designed to increase account lifetime value.
Serve as the primary executive contact for strategic partners.
Build and maintain relationships with planners, venue ownership groups, municipalities, festivals, event producers, and corporate clients.
Represent Peak Beverage at industry events, networking functions, venue showcases, and client meetings.
Create a consistent communication cadence with key partners.
Internal Alignment & Leadership
Act as liaison between Business Development, Market Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership.
Ensure smooth handoffs from new business acquisition to ongoing account management.
Identify service gaps and advocate for client needs internally.
Provide account performance updates and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Portfolio Performance
Track and report on: account retention rate, renewal rate, revenue growth within existing accounts, client satisfaction, referral generation, and strategic account profitability.
Maintain account forecasting and growth plans within CRM.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in account management, hospitality sales, venue management, strategic partnerships, or business development.
Proven success managing large client portfolios and strategic relationships.
Experience leading executive-level conversations and negotiations.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of revenue growth strategies.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and marketing teams.
CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred).
Preferred experience within hospitality, events, beverage, venue management, catering, concessions, or experiential marketing.
Existing relationships within the Colorado events and hospitality industry.
Experience managing multi-million-dollar client portfolios.
