Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to the Assistant Director of Nursing Services in managing and directing the Nursing Services Department.
- Plans, develops, directs, evaluates, and coordinates educational and on-the-job training programs.
- Incorporates commercially produced instruction material and training aids into existing in-service programs as deemed necessary.
- Provides leadership in formulating the goals and objectives of the in-service educational programs of this facility.
- Develops, evaluates, and controls the quality of in-service educational programs in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Secures, develops, and maintains records, reports, instructional manuals, reference materials, etc., pertinent to in-service educational programs.
- Works with the facility’s consultants as necessary and implements recommended changes as required.
- Affords assistance to department directors in obtaining and scheduling of speakers to present in-service training programs.
- Ensures that in-service training classrooms or areas are properly prepared before training classes begin.
- Affords assistance to the Quality Assessment and Assurance Coordinator in developing and implementing a quality assurance program for in-service training.
Salary Range
$75,000-85,000
