Director of Services
About the role
The qualified HomeCare manager will oversee and coordinate the activities of the HomeCare agency’s branch office. They must have a license as a physician or registered nurse, or hold at least an undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s or Associate’s), and at least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related health care program.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch office
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage staff and ensure they meet performance standards
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and families
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members
- Work closely with the Regional Administrator, Agency Administrator, and AVP, Clinical Operations
Requirements
- Licensed physician or Registered Nurse
- Undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s or Associate’s)
- At least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related health care program
- Experience in health service administration
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
