About the role
The Director of Security & Operations oversees the day-to-day running, coordination, and supervision of security, maintenance, and operations staff at CAMBA’s Magnolia House Women's Shelter. This position reports to the Vice President.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
- Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.
- Comply with all Federal, State, City, and CAMBA security and privacy policies.
- Understand and communicate contract requirements to staff.
- Communicate with peers in other CAMBA shelters and external agencies.
- Work with staff to set performance targets.
- Observe and provide feedback on staff-client interactions.
- Conduct internal file reviews and implement quality assurance measures.
- Assist the Program Manager in program oversight.
- Prepare reports and statistical information for CAMBA management and funders.
- Analyze program and demographic client data for program improvement.
- Organize training opportunities for staff.
- Confer with managers on program and personnel issues.
- Plan and organize program activities to meet performance targets.
- Troubleshoot and make decisions on program problems.
- Develop and implement crisis prevention and intervention strategies.
- Provide assistance and follow-up for critical incidents.
- Manage facility security and preventive maintenance.
- Oversee and ensure daily security and maintenance.
- Train and supervise security staff.
- Ensure timely facility repairs and improvements.
- Maintain compliance with city and state regulations.
- Liaise with community leaders and groups.
- Ensure staff utilize electronic databases and oversee data integrity.
- Conduct one-on-one supervision and document performance.
- Attend meetings and report incidents.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication and conduct meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Ability to be on call 24/7.
Qualifications
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred.

$75,000 - $85,000 annually
