Director of Security

About the role

Unitus Security, a leading provider of security services for Class A Commercial and Mixed-Use Properties, is seeking to fill multiple Director of Security positions. We are looking for dedicated professionals who bring trust, integrity, urgency, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, professional, and accountable work culture by building camaraderie and trust with your team and stakeholders.
• Work closely with property management to ensure all security needs are met with excellence.
• Oversee team schedules, ensure coverage, and work with recruiters to bring in new officers as needed.
• Manage payroll reports, meetings, and operational tasks (Excel & Word proficiency is helpful).
• Ensure a high standard of conduct, enforce dress codes, and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Identify coverage gaps, handle unexpected events, and take ownership of your role to make it your own.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
• Hospitality or Customer Service Experience (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• State Required Security Certification (Preferred)
• Ability to Pass a Drug Screen & Background Check (Required)
• Clean Driving Record – Last 3 Years (Required)

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible scheduling needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.

Location

In-person role at a premier property location in Atlanta, GA 30309 (Preferred).
