Director of Security

For our client, a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space, we are seeking a Director of Security to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Hayward, CA. US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a security program for San Carlos and Hayward sites
• Establish high standards for on-site security operations and incident responses
• Develop a trusted security team focused on professionalism and sound judgment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and enhance site safety
• Create scalable security processes and emergency response programs

Qualifications

• 10+ years in physical security management across varied sites or environments
• Experience in incident response, access control systems, and CCTV management
• Proven track record in building or scaling security programs in operational settings
• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong de-escalation and communication skills in dynamic contexts

Pay

$220,000 – $275,000 annually
