About the role
The Director of Saturday Programs is a volunteer leadership position at Minds Matter Houston. The role involves overseeing the delivery of the organization’s college readiness program, managing a team of volunteers, and ensuring high-quality Saturday sessions.
Responsibilities
- Operate weekly Saturday programming
- Lead a team of volunteer direct reports and Session Leads
- Implement systems for capturing key data, including attendance and National KPIs
- Manage the student portal (Google Classroom) and ensure volunteers have necessary resources
- Participate in bi-weekly Core Leadership Team (CLT) meetings
Requirements
This is a volunteer leadership position and does not require prior experience in education or nonprofit management. However, candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
