About the role
Batesville is seeking a Director of Sales Development and Strategic Growth to join our team. This role is full-time and remote.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Prospecting: Identify long-term growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and optimize the initial stages of the sales pipeline.
- Consultative Selling: Lead in-depth discovery meetings to uncover client gaps, barriers, business risks, and operational goals.
- Customized Solutions: Design, create, and present compelling, value-driven proposals and partnership agreements that clearly communicate value.
- Analyze Industry Trends: Monitor shifts in the market, consumer behavior, and competitive shifts to find untapped niches.
- Nurture Strategic Alliances: Build long-term trust with decision-makers, setting the stage for short-, mid- and long-term growth opportunities.
- Negotiate Deals: Guide the customer through our value proposition, overcoming objections while protecting company profitability, creating a “Win-Win” for all parties.
- Pipeline Management: Track interactions, follow-ups, and deal stages using the corporate CRM platform to ensure accurate sales forecasting.
- Follow all company policies/practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. /B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university
- Minimum of three years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Qualifications
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; a natural storyteller who builds consensus quickly.

Pay
The expected base salary range for this role is $140,000-$170,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
