Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Plays a key role in the development of marketing plans, including a quarterly competitive analysis.
- Successfully organizes and implements the marketing plan on a daily basis, keeping track of budgeted census, admission goals, and actual census.
- Plans in-house events to educate the community about the services and strengths of the community.
- Manages time effectively and completes tasks within company time frames.
- Makes at least 10-15 direct sales calls with referral sources each week, completing sales calls according to the annual marketing plan.
- Utilizes the CRM software program daily to document inquiries, deposits, admissions, discharges, census, schedule, advertising, and sales calls.
- Ensures occupancy/census goals are met through qualified admissions.
- Maintains strong relationships with community and civic organizations, aiming for an average of at least four admissions per month.
- Coordinates events with the Director of Activities and provides thorough and accurate information to the Wellness department for pre-admission assessments.
- Coordinates admissions and discharges with the Director of Maintenance to ensure a minimum turnaround time for vacated apartments and verifies the apartment's readiness before a resident's admission.
- Recommends innovative ideas to the Executive Director for marketing, advertising, collaterals, and public relations.
Regulation and Policy Compliance
- Ensures that RSL's policies and procedures are followed as they relate to marketing and advertising.
- Maintains compliance with Federal, State, County, and City regulations.
- Demonstrates acceptable performance skills in: Resident rights and responsibilities, respect for residents' belongings, respect for residents' privacy, respect for residents' religious beliefs, and respect for interpersonal relationships with family and other staff members.
Job Qualifications
- Able to relate positively to the elderly.
- Must have good marketing and public relations skills.
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a sales position operating retirement, assisted living, or skilled nursing community, or related business.
- High school diploma, higher education, and specific training/certification in management activities.
- Current state-specific driver’s license and appropriate driving record.
Other Requirements
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adequate English language skills to communicate with residents and staff and understand written and verbal instructions.
- Compassion for the elderly and sick.
- Self-motivation.
