Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase revenue and market share for hotel rooms, catering services, and food and beverage outlets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Set sales targets and goals for the sales team and monitor performance against objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and other potential customers.
  • Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and site tours to showcase hotel facilities, catering services, and food and beverage offerings.
  • Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts for group bookings, events, catering services, and dining reservations.
  • Drive sales revenue by promoting hotel accommodations, meeting spaces, banquet facilities, catering services, and food and beverage outlets.
  • Maximize occupancy rates and average daily rates (ADR) through effective pricing strategies and revenue management techniques.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of hotel amenities, catering packages, and dining experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise the sales team, including sales managers, coordinators, and support staff.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure team members meet sales targets and deliver exceptional service.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive awareness and demand for hotel accommodations, catering services, and food and beverage offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, advertisements, and online content.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel and its hospitality services.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor sales expenses, commissions, and incentives to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Control sales-related costs and overheads to maximize profitability and return on investment (ROI).
