Phoenix Staff is seeking a Director of Sales for an established organization in Phoenix. This is a hands-on sales leadership role focused on driving revenue growth, strengthening sales execution, and developing a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day sales organization, including team coaching, performance management, pipeline development, forecasting, and revenue execution.
  • Establish clear sales goals, expectations, KPIs, and accountability across the team.
  • Coach and develop sales professionals to strengthen individual and team performance.
  • Maintain an active role in strategic accounts, major pursuits, and key client relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to grow market share, expand existing accounts, and generate new business.
  • Implement a consistent, disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and sales activity.
  • Build a collaborative, results-oriented sales culture focused on accountability and client service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and business decision-makers.
  • Participate directly in complex, relationship-driven sales opportunities and help move opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Phoenix business community, target markets, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with leadership, operations, design, and project teams to ensure sales commitments align with successful client delivery.

Qualifications

  • Progressive B2B sales experience with a strong track record in sales management and team leadership.
  • Demonstrated success coaching, developing, and holding sales teams accountable for results.
  • Proven ability to grow revenue in a relationship-driven, solution-oriented sales environment.
  • Hands-on business development experience, including developing new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Experience managing complex sales involving multiple stakeholders, customized solutions, and longer sales cycles.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance management capabilities.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior-level clients and key decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to set direction while remaining actively engaged with the sales team and clients.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in commercial interiors, workplace solutions, contract furniture, architecture and design, construction, commercial real estate, or a similar project-based B2B environment.
  • Established knowledge of the Phoenix business community and local market.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, design, project, or client-service teams.
  • Understanding of how sales execution and the overall client experience work together to support account growth, retention, and long-term revenue.

Pay

$90,000–$120,000 Base + Incentives/Commissions
