Responsibilities

  • Oversight of day-to-day sales operations
  • Sales leadership and oversight
  • Define and implement policies and performance standards
  • Define, implement, monitor, and continually improve sales KPIs
  • Achieve annual sales volume and profit objectives
  • Create and execute sales plans for four major product categories
  • Research customer and market trends
  • Work with operations and other internal departments to deliver top service
  • Exhibit independent desire to develop and maintain ongoing product and industry knowledge
  • Communicate with employees to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas
  • Manage time and organize workflow to meet deadlines
  • Exhibit ability to work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years in sales in the food industry
  • Education: Associate degree in an appropriate field of study or three years equivalent work
  • Preferred Requirements: 5-7 years of sales and/or sales management experience, preferably working with seafood and meat/poultry food products. Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, sales, marketing, hospitality, or culinary arts.
  • Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred Technical: Mastery-level proficiency with PowerBI, spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytical tools
