Director of Risk Management

About the role

The Director of Risk Management will own and advance risk management strategies and practices for Culver Franchising System, LLC and its Culver’s system. Key responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks that could impact the business, team members, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and mitigate risks impacting the Culver’s brand
• Lead the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on risk management initiatives
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to enhance risk management practices
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s degree preferred) in Risk Management or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in a corporate setting, preferably in the restaurant, retail, or manufacturing industry
• Experience leading a Risk Management function
• Associate of Risk Management (ARM) certification, preferred
• 3+ years of relevant people-management responsibilities
